The Lisbon meetup community supported 30 local brands in 2019

Two thousand nineteen was a magical year for our community in Lisbon. We started from zero: the first Brand the Change Meetup in Lisbon was on the 28th of February. Nine meetups followed, 130 people attended, and we brainstormed and advised thirty brands. Wow! This is magical!

These meetups have been great opportunities to make new connections with people who are generous and are willing to share their time, knowledge and experience. A big thank you to everyone who showed up and contributed!

We loved brainstorming solutions for change making entrepreneurs, from sustainable food brands, no-waste brands, to summer brands! Thank you for having the confidence in us to bring us your brand challenges: Coração Bobo, Impactrip, Bzalo Woodcraft, Maria GranelPuro VerdeHero to 0, R-coat, Skarabo Life, LEMON‘MATEWine With a ViewA Li, Poio, Inspiration Her, Novonovo, Circular Wear, Lisboa Limpa, Teresa Gameiro, 7 Irmãs, Perception Architecture, Oktopod, Arte Viral, Bananika, Maria Rabanete, Troca-te, amongst others.

And a big thanks to Happy Coworking, Impact Hub Lisbon, Impact House and Nomad Goods for opening up their space to us.

Come join us!

In 2020, we would love to grow the community, enriching the advice we share with brands, and follow up with them for continued support. And we want you to be a part of it! On the last Thursday of January we'll have our next Brand the Change Meetup Lisbon. To start the year we'll be brainstorming brands that are focusing on new year resolutions, such as banishing single use plastic or throwing cigarette butts on the floor.

We hope to see you there. If you would like to put your brand challenge in front of our community, please mail hello@brandthechange.org.
Would you like to add your skills and knowledge to the cause? Join the meetup community or sign up for our events newsletter so you are always up to date!

Thank you for the time we had together this past year. Happy Holidays!

Cheerfully,

Emily Saturnino, Nicole Stéffane e Mariana Vaz Pato
