Brand The Change develops knowledge resources and tools to open up branding skills and knowledge across the world. By purchasing our products and respecting our copyright terms and conditions, you make our work possible.

Our products are protected by intellectual property and copyright laws. By using them, you agree to the terms and conditions that apply to these products. Please read the terms and conditions for each product below.

We've done our best to write up the terms of use for our tools in human terms.

1) BRAND THE CHANGE; THE BRANDING GUIDE

This book was previously released under the name: Branding Toolkit for Changemakers. The same terms and conditions apply. 

By purchasing this product, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

The purchase of this product (paper or ebook) grants you one (1) license for personal or professional use.

For multiple users, you need to purchase additional copies of the book.

No part of this book may be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system, or transmitted in any form, or by any means, electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording or otherwise, without the express written consent of the author and publisher, except in the case of brief excerpts in critical reviews. This includes the illustrations. The requirement for reviews is full identification and credit of the author: copyright Anne Miltenburg (Brand The Change). 

If you wish to share, distribute or (re)sell the book or parts thereof, whether printed or digital, in original or adapted form, as a standalone tool or included in software or digital/printed files or publications, for commercial or non-commercial use, to any third party, you need to obtain the express permission of the author and copyright holder in writing. Please contact us with your request at hello@brandthechange.org

If you want to work with tools from the book with third parties (for instance, if you are a brand, communications or marketing agency, independent professional, or educator), please become a member. Membership grants you a license for this purpose, as described under the terms and conditions of membership.

If you want to use content of the book in an online course, lecture or other online format, please email us at hello@brandthechange.org to learn about the options.

If you work at a recognized educational institute and you want your students to have a copy of Brand the Change, you can contact our publisher BIS for a special educational license at a discounted price. Please email BIS Publishers at info@bispublishers.com

By using any of our tools or case study products, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

The purchase of the product grants you one (1) license for personal or professional use.

This means that you can use the document on your own device and make prints for your own use. For multiple users you can purchase multiple licenses on our online store on Gumroad.

You cannot share, distribute, or (re)sell the tool, manual or case studies, or parts thereof, whether printed or digital, in original or adapted form, as standalone files or included in software, digital/printed files, in courses or publications, for commercial or non-commercial use, with any third party, without the express written consent of the author and publisher.

3) membership

Formerly also sold as the Facilitator Support Bundle. The same T&C apply.

By becoming a member of the Brand The Change community, you agree to uphold the copyright and intellectual property of our materials. If you cannot agree to the terms, don’t use the materials and this service.  

Membership includes access to all our courses, tools and case studies, as well as content posted on the Network and selected live online events.

When you become a member, whether through payment, scholarship, as part of your purchase of another product, or through a gifted or free subscription, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. No part of the courses, tools, case studies or network content may be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system, or transmitted in any form, or by any means, electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording, or otherwise, without the express, written consent of Brand The Change Ltd. All our content is protected under copyright and intellectual property rights.

You can collaborate with others using our tools, please see point five below.

2. One paid membership equals a seat in the community for one individual person. To guard the trust crucial to a strong community, we need to be able to identify each individual member. It’s not allowed to share your login credentials with other individuals. If you want to purchase a membership for more than 2 people, we have discounted packages available. 3. Cancellation and refunds. We only offer refunds on annual memberships. Email us within 30 days of the start of your annual membership, and we will give you a full refund.

If your subscription has been renewed unintentionally, you can email us with your cancellation request within 7 days of the renewal, and we will give you a full refund of the last monthly payment or the last annual payment.

Message hello@brandthechange.org with your name and the email address you use for your account and we’ll get it done asap.

4. Certificates of completion. We award digital certificates of completion to members who complete all assignments to our online courses. Please send an email with your completed assignments to hello@brandthechange.org.

5. You can use our tools and exercises for collaboration under specific terms and conditions.

Please read carefully what you CAN and CANNOT do under these Terms and Conditions.

With an active, paid membership, you CAN: 

  • use the tools from the Brand The Change book for in-person workshops

    • you can include the tools in slides that are used to introduce the workshop and for instruction

    • you can hand out our tools as printed paper copies

    • photograph the workshop and its results

  • use the tools from the Brand The Change book to host live* online workshops for max. 50 participants

    • you can include the tools in your slides to introduce the workshop and for instruction

    • you can include the a digital whiteboard environment such as miro or for collaboration

  • share the outcome of your work with the tools or exercises with your collaborators by photographing the completed paper or digital tools.

However, you can NOT: 

  • cancel your subscription to this community and continue to work with others using our tools

  • share our materials on a server, website, social media, library or another storage method, or through digital or paper correspondence, with any third party, paid or free

  • include the tools in (pre)recorded lectures, online courses, MOOCS, automated courses or other educational software without our explicit written permission

  • alter the design of the tools, alter or remove our logo or copyright line, or add your own logo or copy without our explicit written permission

  • use product photos or images of workshop sessions created by Brand The Change in your own promotional materials

  • train others how to run workshops or consultancy processes with our tools

  • trademark or claim ownership of any part of our tools, exercises or content

  • claim any social media handles or web domains related to our tools, exercises and content

  • present yourself as a Brand The Change Certified Trainer, or an employee of Brand The Change Ltd

* a LIVE online workshop is a workshop that is hosted at a particular time with active participation, rather than a recorded workshop or course that is consumed.

6. Present your relationship with Brand The Change and our network and tools and resources correctly. As a member of the community, you represent your own business, educational institute, or organization. You cannot present yourself as a representative of, or employed by, Brand The Change Ltd.

Please note that the term Certified Trainer is reserved exclusively for those who successfully completed our Trainers Certification Program.
