Three fun-filled Friday sessions to train our brand thinking brain, get creative, and discover lots of new insights.

 

Most of us think of Brand Strategy as complex, and maybe also a little boring? (all that jargon!)

Changing the world isn’t any easier - and it comes with a looooot of anxiety. This June, we want you to experience the joy that can come from creating better brand strategies for change.

That’s why we’re hosting ‘Brand The Change Playground’ a series of three fun-filled Friday sessions to train our brand thinking brain, get creative, and discover lots of new insights.

Session one is a brand strategy jam, session two we play audience detective, and in session three we will turn the status quo on its head with the powerful technique of reframing.

It’s 🤝 collaborative, 🎉 fun and informal, 🤯 insightful.
Better yet: 🚫 no homework, 🙅‍♀️ no pre-reading: just show up and play.

Session 1: Brand Strategy Jam

Brand strategy has a reputation for being complex and boring. It doesn’t have to be. We will break out groups of three, we will develop a brand strategy on a page for a mystery product. Discover how three different audiences for the product will create three totally different brands. You can play around with every single brand experience - including the product itself. 

Session 2: Audience Detective

You have a product - but who is your audience exactly? It feels like looking for a needle in a haystack - if you even know where the haystack is to begin with. Never fear… the audience detective is here. We are going to put on our detective goggles to find the audience for a small, common, but surprisingly multi-faceted product.

Session 3: Brand Reframing

Some people just stick to the status quo: others like to see the world differently. Reframing is a technique to uncover, challenge and then overturn assumptions. It is a powerful way to find a new angle for a brand for change. We will share two inspiring examples of a brand reframe, and get to work on creating our own.

What are the costs?
A pass to the Playground is $289 and comes with a free one year membership that gives you access to all our case studies, courses and other live events.

What if I miss a session?
Every session is recorded and the digital whiteboards for each session are available to all participants. 

Do I keep access to the materials?
Return to the sessions again and again for as long as you like through the video recording links and digital whiteboard links. Access to the community group and discussion threads are linked to membership, and will depend on your renewal. 

Will the free one year membership auto-renew for a payment?
Yes, the membership renews automatically. You will receive a message one month in advance of the renewal date to remind you of the charge. If you missed the cancelation period, you can email us within one month after the renewal for a full refund.

Can I pay in installments? 
Sorry, we can only accept payment upfront at once.

What if I don’t have a credit card?
We offer manual payments for the membership through online banking and MPESA (in Kenya). Please send a request to hello@brandthechange.org, with your billing address: company name, address, country, and VAT/PIN number.

Can I get an invoice?
You will be able to download an invoice directly from the admin section of your community account after you paid. 

Can I cancel and get a refund?
You can cancel participation up to two weeks before the start of the program and get a full refund. We can’t offer refunds for the program after June 16th 2023.
