Brand The Change Academy is a highly interactive programme. Work directly with Anne Miltenburg and 16 peers on your brand.
During 8 weeks we journey through the brand development process together, from strategy to planning implementation.
The process is broken down into 7 learning modules with reading materials (text and video) and assignments. You study the materials and do the assignments between the live sessions.
Each week, Anne provides personalised feedback on your work.
We use our live time together to discuss your work, host Q&As, and exercises and have time for in-depth exchange on brand-building topics and challenges.
A peer coaching circle is set up for those who want even more feedback and reflection.

Maìra Rahme - FACILITATION
Maìra is a learning designer and facilitator. She ensures you will have fun, learn lots, and make the best use of your time. With a combination of Syrian, Italian and Brazilian roots, and a bit of Swedish and Irish thrown in, Maìra knows how to pull a diverse crowd together.
Anne Miltenburg - BRAND expertise
Anne, the author of Brand The Change, is a brand developer with over 15 years of experience. The Academy content is developed by Anne. She will guide you through the learning modules, will give personal feedback on your assignments, and will lead conversations and Q&A on all aspects of branding in the live sessions.

What’s the time commitment?
preparation time before the course starts 8-16 hours

The time investment shown above is an indication and varies per brand. Some participants block their entire calendar to get it right, some have a few hours per week to spare. Some people work with a team (which can speed you up or slow you down).
When are the live sessions?
Sessions are scheduled for February 1, 8, 15, 22, and March 1, 8 and 22 at 2.30 pm Nairobi time (time of day might change based on participant timezones).
What’s the investment?
The programme fee is $1,250 ex VAT (VAT is applied in Kenya only) per participant.
The price for a team of two is $2,000 ex VAT. Both participants need to work on the same brand.
Can i bring my co-founder or a colleague?
Yes. The price for participation for a team of two, both working on the same brand, is $2,000 (instead of $1,250 per person). You can fill out one application form, and indicate that you wish to enrol two people at the team price.
What are the application criteria?
We select participants based on their fit with the programme. We look at clarity and stage of your product/service, sector, and motivation. We curate a group of participants that is diverse in terms of level of experience, stage, sector, and cultural background. Our selection process also ensures there are no competing brands within one cohort.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
After payment of the course fees, an 90% refund will be given to participants who cancel their participation within max. 21 days after payment. Payments made within 30 days before the start of the programme are not eligible for a refund.
Because we select a maximum number of participants and are obliged to turn more candidates away than we can place, no refunds are given afterward.
In unexpected and grievous situations, participants can put their attendance on hold and join the next class, if one is available. Terms and conditions apply.
If the programme is canceled by Brand The Change due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund is given.
Can I get a discount or scholarship?
For each programme we run, we give away two ‘Golden Tickets’ for those participants with the greatest potential and the greatest need. Please email hello@brandthechange.org for more information.
Can I pay in installments?
Sorry, we can’t accept payment in installments. Payment must be received in full to secure your spot in the class.
