During this month's open community hangout, we will be talking about Ethical Branding. Two of the toughest questions you might face in life: What is the right thing to do? And: what is the right thing to say? Branding sits right at the intersection of both, so no wonder the pursuit of ethical branding is complex.
Anne will lead a debate with the community and two special guests.
What is Ethical Branding? Let's discuss our different perspectives and try and co-create a definition.
What could some simple 'ethical branding code of conduct' items be?
If you want to pursue ethical branding, what are the dilemmas you inevitably will encounter?
How can you resolve some of these dilemmas?
Guests
We will be joined by two special guests with a wealth of experience in facing and resolving moral dilemmas.
Francesca Folda started her career as a journalist and in 20 years reporting from conflict zones, the Italian mafia and social issues she won multiple awards. She went on to lead several news media, and became the Head of Cultural Impact and Corporate Communication at Sky Italia, one of the largest broadcasters in Europe. Today she is the head of communications for Amani Institute, a school in Kenya, Brazil and India that trains professionals for the impact sector. Francesca has lived her professional life walking the talk on ethical brand building and communication, and we look forward to hearing her perspective on this tough topic.
