What helps you in your brand-building practice? Chances are, something that you're doing is just what someone else is looking for. It's been on our wishlist for some time, but this year we're finally able to make skill-share sessions happen!
This march, Thom Peet and Maarten de Vries of Brand Bros will share the Archetype method they use in their practice.
Brand archetypes are personality types that can be very helpful in identifying the role and personality that a brand takes on. Initially based on the twelve archetypes of Swiss psychiatrist and psychoanalyst Jung, more types have emerged over the past years: Creator, Sage, Caregiver, Innocent, Jester, Magician, Ruler, Hero, Everyman (aka Regular Guy), Rebel (aka Outlaw), Explorer, Lover, and many more.
Some people love them, while others think they create one-dimensional cookie-cutter brands. Especially for smaller brands, they can be a challenge to get right.
