It's here: The branding toolkit for changemakers

After years of dreaming, three months of beta-version development and testing, one month of crowdfunding preparation, 28 days of Kickstarter campaigning, four months of writing, interviews, research and editing, a month of design and production, four pro bono Brand Camps, 12 hours of individual brand consultancy and a week of packing and shipping we are thrilled to announce the official launch of the Branding Toolkit for Changemakers!

Packing, shipping & gifting

Sunday the 28th of February we assembled and packed 200 of the limited edition printed toolkits for our kickstarter backers and sent them off into the world! Thanks to the generosity of our backers we are able to gift another 200 copies of the toolkit to changemakers across the world, from Mexico to Jordan and to organisations such as Amani Institute in Kenya and Brazil, iBase in Nairobi, Impact Booster in The Hague and the Global Good Fund in Washington.

Where you can buy the toolkit

The digital edition of the Branding Toolkit for Changemakers is now for sale online in our Toolshop. The toolkit  comes in the shape of a pdf of 132 pages, with a separate file for the extended Brand Thinking Canvas.

To cover additional unforeseen costs, we printed an extra 100 copies of the toolkit. Our partner Stattys, which also sells the poster size Brand Thinking Canvasses on our behalf, will sell this last batch of physical copies, so if you love print, you can still get a copy.

What people are saying about the toolkit

‘We want people to be changemakers not just change thinkers. These branding tools help Amani Fellows to effectively sell the change they want to see in the world.’ —Roshan Paul, president of the Amani Institute

'@annemiltenburg Thx to you for creating and sharing this lovely and inspiring work! I totally appreciate this. #BrandTheChange' —@MGrassler via Twitter

'I loveeee your toolkit. It makes me want to spend hours going through every word and apply it to Kaarigarrii. I am going to set aside days for this on my calendar. It motivates me to move.' —Sabin Lakhani, founder Kaarigarrii.

Making friends

What has been the most rewarding experience of making this toolkit is the amount of likeminded people we met made along the way. From the moment we embarked upon this plan last April, till today, we’ve only received positive and constructive feedback and offers of help. Through the workshops and one hour brand consultancy sessions we offered, we met dozens of new people with amazing plans to change the way governments manage procurement, the way we lead innovation in the Airforce or how we can ensure our mounds of information and big data actually lead to better decision making. Thank you all for making our work possible!
